E007 THE golden record
Episode Description
This week we take a trip into space and discover everything about The Golden Record. In 1977, NASA launched Voyager I and Voyager II where their mission was to do a flyby of Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus. After their mission was complete, they would float off into interstellar space until the end of time. On board those space crafts? A cosmic message in a bottle that can communicate with extraterrestrials what life on Earth is like.
Listen to this episode of The Everything Bagel Podcast for the news headlines from mid-April to early-May, an exploration of The Golden record, and our Smoke Break segment, where we discuss what would be included in our own “golden record.”
